Now that it’s almost Summer, it’s time to start thinking about how you’re going to occupy the kiddos. Who wants to listen to, “Mom! Dad! I’m bored!” all day? No thanks! That’s why we’re grateful that the City of Orange has put together an incredible list of summer camps for us in a handy dandy flipbook that you can read HERE. We’ve browsed through the whole thing, and we’re telling you right now that there is something for every kind of kid. Outdoorsy kids? Got ‘em covered. Techy kids? Got ‘em covered. Kids who want to learn how to survive a zombie apocalypse? They’ve got a camp for that too (crazy, right?).

- Le Gourmet Kitchen has some AMAZING cooking camps for kids and teens. Check out their calendar for the details, but starting at the end of June, they’ll be hosting 5 day cooking camps for little chefs (ages 5-8) and 5 day baking camps for teens (ages 13-17). How amazing does this cooking camp sound: Unleash your child’s kitchen creativity with this special hands-on cooking camp designed just for them. For five days, they will learn all about the wonders of the culinary world by mastering the basic techniques behind so many of our favorite foods. Working alongside other young chefs and our experienced instructors, junior cooks will learn kitchen basics like knife skills, grilling, roasting, stir-frying, baking and pastry making. And here’s what the Teen Baking Camp is all about: Learning to cook develops creativity, academic skills and teamwork—and it’s tons of fun. This week, bring in your little chefs for five fun-filled days of hands-on culinary exploration. Working side-by-side with our expert instructors, junior chefs will learn kitchen basics while creating an amazing array of delicious baked goods and pastries.
And for kids with more varied interests you might consider these Edutainment Arts Camps that include:
